I redo some scenes because I've changed by the time I make it back around to that scene, and because of this, I see more that the scene could be. I've written, not fully completed, five novels as I learned how to become a "proper" author. I've never discarded a scene, only improved them.

Yes. When I see a story, I see it in its completion with many details included. I write that as my skeleton before I flesh everything out, which includes any number of reworking concepts and ideas. It could be as little an add-on as a new sentence I really liked or complete redo of the same scene.

All of them. 😁 I write a very skinny practically a skeleton of the story. After completion and a word count, I add the five senses and descriptions to flesh it all out. Finally, I do a full edit of each chapter indivisible and within the whole until it all sings. Every chapter is important.

It should be know what you write. If you're writing a medical drama and the nurse uses a defibrillator without removing the clothing first, you failed even if you work in a hospital. Research all of it, even if you believe you know. You'll be surprised and get to write a post like this one day. 😉

On men writing women, for me, I have four women I ask questions through text with the promise, that I fully intend to keep, that I'll be thanking them and such if published. Besides, they enjoy the odd questions. On write what you know, I disagree. Many successful authors do so and still fail.

Romance. The end of the world bit is a fuse I add mid story for the reader as a way to clarify why Lilith desires Miriam, build on the character of Lilith and Samyaza, and up the stakes and conflict. This' Romance Paranormal first and foremost. Miriam and Jakob falling in love through tough times.

It's not published. No quit. Politics is a bit of a stretch. The theme is based in it sure, can a demon be forgiven by Heaven through true love, but the plot only dabbles in the political side because it's a core element of the catalyst. Roughly 8% is that dynamic of angel v devil or devil v devil.

Sharp pricks of fire sprang from her tight clawed grip as his face contorted into shock and awe at the ancient feeling of intimate contact returned from forced celibacy. The neglected memory of the soft hot passionate embrace of a woman paled in comparison to Leti’s work with body and tongue. The demon in his hands excitedly lapped the sanguine release when intense pressure pierced his white silk shirt and thick chest. The pain robbed him of his control. He exploded against his measured will.
Red iron in her mouth and lecherous desire between her legs excited her plans further. “Stay with me.” Clawed fingers gripped his hair and forced him to meet her eye-to-eye.
Samyaza panted and snarled as his muscles slowly relaxed before he placed her onto the soft grass. The tiny wild animal lunged at him and wrapped sensual lips around his sticky bestial member the moment he let go of her. Muscles clenched from her relentless refusal to let him be done. Wicked submissive temptations screamed from his most sensitive moment. A whispered moan wailed from him as his head slammed back and mouth opened wide toward the clear night sky. Her aggressive magical tongue slathered wet heat while a delicate hand gently cupped him from beneath. A tight pull refused him calm as a white fever washed over every sensitive inch of skin and instinct forced a hand on the back of her head and hips to press against the constriction. Leti slowly licked him clean as her gorgeous eyes gleamed with success.
He panted, donned wool trousers, and rubbed sweat from his wide brow. “Well, that was unexpected. You truly have power over me. It’s been, I mean . . .”
“A long time.” She smirked and grazed gentle fingers across his normally solid legs. “You deserve more.”
The playset creaked as he climbed into the pitiful swing and straightened his button down. “You must be her for I’ve found none like you.”

In Last of the First, Miriam always has a plan and works it until success or fail, then immediately creates a new plan. The problem is that most of her plans eventually get convoluted by alcohol. Jakob is the king of winging it. If alcohol isn't the problem, Jakob usually is. #writingcommunity

When my dad was a kid, if he misbehaved, his father would make him read from Moby-Dick or Pilgrim’s Progress. Dad still doesn’t enjoy reading to this day. If you frame something a punishment, your kids won’t do it for fun as adults. Except for going to bed early. That’s a great time right there.

"How did you get into TTRPG's?" Stepfather wanted to connect and ran an AD&D campaign when I was 8 years old. Within a month, I ran my first game for friends. Within three months, I ran my first for adults. By the time I was 9, I built and ran a D&D and AD&D for adults simultaneously.
