Under the APA's "Goldwater rule" it is unethical for psychiatrists to give a mental health diagnosis of a public figure they haven't examined. That said, there have been multiple warnings by psychiatrists and other mental health professionals based on their observations of his behavior.

State prosecutions are possible if there are no statute of limitations issues. Prosecutors will have allegations investigated. If they believe they have sufficient facts to convict, they will bring it before a grand jury, or they will arrest him, file charges and hold a preliminary hearing.

He has to be indicted and convicted after trial. This DOJ will never prosecute him. A state prosecution is possible with sufficient facts and no statute of limitations issues. So is impeachment after the midterms.

So much for upholding the law. A month ago Blanche was referred to the NY State Bar by Judge Williams for his serious misconduct in Trump v IRS. Now this blatant violation of the Hatch Act - just after he was sworn in as AG. I'm so disgusted.

Not yet. It was dismissed without a prejudice designation. Hearn's attorney's argued it should be with prejudice b/c it was politically motivated & there was insufficient evidence. The prosecution has to respond by August 18th, the defense has a week to reply and then the judge will set a hearing.

Blanche's unilateral rescission isn't worth the paper it's written on. Paragrah VIII specifically states: "This Settlement Agreement may be modified only with the written agreement of the Parties." It further supports the July 13, 2026, findings and Order of Judge Williams.
