My kids love books, and Storyline Online was a great way for them to listen to stories when they were little and we couldn't keep up. But I always made sure to read to them at least every day at bedtime.

The full quote that I found was "It was the only NBA or NCAA men's game going on at thay time in Atlanta." So it sounds like their evidence that he was in Atlanta was that he was a a basketball game, and their evidence that it was a Hawks game was that the Hawks were the only game in Atlanta.

NBC News website that reads:

“Gotta give you some flowers for that, sir,” he said, saying Smith “sat there acting dumbfounded and completely clueless.”

“It was the only NBA or NCAA men’s game going on at that time in Atlanta. He claimed later that he was at another game,” Schmitt responded. “Here’s the thing — my job is to ask the questions. If that’s what his answer is, that’s what his answer is.”

On Tuesday night, Schmitt wrote in a post on X, “Who knew Jack Smith was a Caitlin Clark fan?”

Even if he was at the Atlanta Hawks game, what are those texts supposed to insinuate? Even if they did show he was there, why were they supposed to be nefarious? It's a helluva leap from him being at a game to him meeting specific people on the case.
