I just finished The Fisherman by Chigozie Obioma, which is utterly sad but the prose is very beautiful. It reminded me of the The Sympathiser, with how formal the writing was. Reading Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie next.

Cost of living too? £20-30pp to see a comedian perhaps, plus a few drinks £24 perhaps, maybe a bit of food before or after another £30 to £££, and the travel too. Starts becoming a £100 night out. Book on advance and maybe run out of money by then, or on the week of when finances are stable?

I'm all for boosting internet infra, but part of me thinks it's not really internet infra that's really the problem (ok maybe in like a village of 100 people), but it's still social aspects like managers who want to see heads in chairs, companies with multi year leases on buildings etc

i mean sure... but the difference is purely one is banned and one is not... that's not to say that these women would not get dragged if it were banned on great western, but you can't make the comparison cleanly.
