I was able to join some friends and play poker last night from the airport. Steam Frame is a game changer. I don't think people quite understand what it can do yet. If VRChat ever decide Linux isn't a swear-word, I would be able to forsake the laptop too.

I see #VRChat / @vrchat.com took the approach of just lying about the Steam Frame. They say 'hardware limitations' prevent the desktop version running. Engineer here: false. It is an ARM PC that runs Linux. Unity supports ARM64 Linux. They just -don't want to spend money porting-.

Anyone any good with #Windows? Machine runs Windows 11 with ASRock X870 Pro RS Wifi. Plugged in a #Thunderbolt 3 PCI-e into USB4. Linux: #Thunderbolt 3 detected, I activated PCI-e tunnel, all works. Windows: No #USB4 available. No drivers, diagnostics, or information. What should I do?

After seeing that a popular fishing world in #VRChat is likely significantly AI slop I am reminded of this feature request: feedback.vrchat.com/feature-requ... I don't see any user-forward reason for them not to implement it if voted up. (A ton of hostile and exploitative reasons not to, though.)
