A little Octoberfest treat at Cooper's Seafood House (www.coopers-seafood.com), where I had really good schnitzel~

Schnitzel, Spätzle, and Apple-Bacon cabbage slaw.

The best of the wurst! 3 Wursts, Spätzle and Cabbage/Apple/Bacon slaw, as well as some dipping mustard.

Shrimp scampi, not very Octoberfest, but whatever! There's an apple cider behind it!

Key Lime Pie. All times are times for Key Lime. This one has a cocktail umbrella.

A: Big Boy, (specifically en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_P...), is So Much Bigger than the pictures do justice to, and B: There's so much articulated, visible machinery set to a tangible purpose... The mechano-organic interstices of the locomotive feel like they're alive in a way.

Grilled Cheese, Creme de Menthe Sundae, at the Riverside Creamery in Port Jervis, NY, close to closing for the season. :9

What looks like a house converted into a restaurant called the Riverside Creamery. White with pink highlights, it looks like it might need to be repainted soon, but is otherwise lively.

Corn Muffins! Some with Masa Harina (first), some with Sorgum! The purple ones have Blue Cornmeal instead of White.

A pile of cornmuffins! Half of them are purple, and so have Blue Cornmeal in the mix. They incorporate Masa Harina, in addition to regular cornmeal.

Corn muffins with a bit of sorghum, which gives it a rougher, more biscuit-like look!

Mothers day at Riverside Creamery, Port Jervis, NY~

Restaurant in the old fashioned style of being a house first, then converted into a business, this is the Riverside Creamery of Port Jervis, New York. It has a flag on the front promising ice cream, and they do not fail to deliver.

A trifle - layers of ice cream, syrup and toppings, in this case peanutbutter, peanutbutter cup, and chocolate syrup, with a topping of whipped cream, and soft serve vanilla-chocolate swirl between each layer.

Two hot dogs. The closer has ketchup and mustard, the further has relish. A crispy skin on the exterior is split open by immersion in hot oil.

Post continues, regarding "thing that reduces the barrier to doing the task" as a catalyst/enzyme to the analogy, quite successfully.
