皆(みな)さん、お元気(げんき)ですか。 Soon, it's Tanabata in Japan - the starfestival. I'd love to a little reading lesson with you (for free). We'd read a short story that introduces you to the background of this traditional festival. First, we'd go through the necessary vocabulary and then we'd read the story.

Also, happy pride month everyone! As in any part of the world, it's not that easy in Japan either when you are part of LGBTQIA+ I dedicated a section of the book to LGBT rights in Japan (information as of 2024) But that's not the only thing that makes this book queer.

Papyrus would definitely want to try all Showa style food. The fizzy cream soda (which is also green), the Napolitan pasta (it's pasta, after all) and the retro pudding called purin ara moodo. Sans would go for Napolitan, because the sauce is ketchup based. #undertale #japan

Papyrus is baking strawberry cake but can't decide which strawberries to cut into slices and which ones to put on top. Sans: I am sure the cake will be tasty, no matter which strawberry is where. But we could also squeeze some ketchup on top, I'm sure the color goes well with the strawberries!

Papyrus is super excited about his first snowstorm outside the Underground. There actually never was a snowstorm. The snow was just ... there. Just like that. Wind was blowing once in a while, but it was never accompanied by snow. Unlike rain in Waterfall. Snowdin was just magically uh snowed in.

Papyrus dancing the lion dance. Sans Gaster blaster is the lion head. Sans is the little helper carrying the piece of cloth. Most people think it's a Halloween performance or are scared. Papyrus is disappointed that people don't recognize a traditional lion dance when they see one.
