The Supreme Court ruled today that a practitioner's religious beliefs are more important in treating you than any science bc science that counters one's religious beliefs violates the practitioner's right to free expression and exercise of their religious beliefs God, this country is dumb af

Oct 12, 2022 - Screen grab of a tweet from Jason Campbell:

Still from the Charlie Kirk show Charlie speaking. Underneath the quote from Charlie reads a quote from Charlie’s broadcast that day:

“I can’t stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made up New Age term that does a lot of damage.”

The will of the voters apparently doesn't matter that much. 72% of Americans believe there should be limits on money from individuals and organizations in campaigns. 58% want stricter gun laws. About 80–85% support paid parental leave, and around 60–70% favor a public option for health insurance.

Schuldigung - 14 Prozentpunkte der Bürgergeldempfangenden

japande.bsky.social @japande.bsky.social · 03/07/2025

Unfortunately, GDP means nothing for the average person (hbr.org/2019/10/gdp-...), looking at the quality of life index provides a better picture of what it's like to live in each state/country (California: oecdregionalwellbeing.org/US06.html - Germany: www.oecdbetterlifeindex.org/countries/ge...).

GDP Is Not a Measure of Human Well-Being
GDP was not designed to assess welfare or the well being of citizens. It was designed to measure production capacity and economic growth. Yet policymakers and economists often treat GDP as an all-enco...

America: where you can be a shitty person, as long as you make people believe you're a Christian. And where good people, who do one good deed after another, but happen to be atheists, are condemned. Go figure. 🤷‍♀️

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Looks quite good still, Many cool characters, Overall story is great, Levels are huge, diverse and nice to look at. BUT the game is 80% fetch quests. Wow, did not remember that from my first play through. It gets annoying very fast. 3/5 - good if you ignore most side-quests

Dragon Age 2: Graphically quite nice, Characters very cool, Story glorious, Quite diverse quests, potentially a great game - but unfortunately they had to recycle level layouts over and over and over again. So only 4/5 - I really liked it.

Dragon Age: Origins - Graphically rough, Game mechanics rough, Story pretty great, Quests quite diverse and interesting, it has Morrigan. 4/5. Would play again.
