This Carnegie Library was built in 1903 where my daughter lives. Andrew Carnegie was a wealthy American businessman who believed in giving away his wealth. Part of his philanthropy was to give grants to build 1,689 libraries in the U.S. from 1883-1929. #library #carnegielibrary #andrewcarnegie

An old building built from tan bricks with four columns. It has a white roof and the words Carnegie Library.

The book’s cover shows text: Opal Fields Book 1; Fiona Tarr; Her Buried Bones; An Australian Outback Crime Mystery. The illustration behind the print shows a girl with long blonde hair with her back to the viewer. She’s looking at a vividly colored sunrise or sunset and standing in an area covered with grasses and bushes.

The cover shows a cream colored background. On the right side of the background are the words “Read by Emilia Fox.” In the middle of the cover is the red back of what could be an ornate antique hand mirror. The following words are in the red space: The Antique Hunter’s Guide to Murder; C. L. Miller. Underneath the author’s name is print too small for me to read. Also in the red colored area next to the word “to” in the title is a key and the words “A Novel.” In the word “to” a bird is inside the O.

Text on the cover of this book: A Locust Point Mystery; A Grave Situation; Libby Howard. The background of the book is a soft focus outside scene. The foreground shows a black upright gravestone with (barely visible)
RIP, a gray tabby cat sits in front of the gravestone, dark pink and light pink roses with (perhaps) a purple ribbon holding the flowers together are beside the cat. Green grass stretches into the blurry background.

Print on the cover of this audiobook: New York Times bestselling author; Shadow of the Solstice; A Leaphorn, Chee & Manuelito Novel. In a circle in the middle right of the cover are the words Dark Winds with more tiny print that I can’t read! The background of this cover looks like a watercolor to me. The sky is showing pinks, lavenders, oranges, yellows and turquoise. A yellow spiral sun is partially behind purple mountains. The foreground is quite dark, but some desert vegetation shows up. On the far right is a tall sagauro cactus.

Photo of the cover of the book I’m reading: in large red print—Indian Country. Directly underneath: a piece of paper on a bulletin board which looks like a Missing Person Poster. The word Missing and under that the words—Anya Fast Runner. Smaller print is underneath the name and a photo of a smiling young woman is on the right side. A large red palm print covers most of the poster. A portion of what looks like another “Missing” poster is next to the described poster. At the bottom of the book cover is the author’s name in white print: Michael Max Darrow.

The black print on the cream colored cover of this book:
Turning to Birds
The Power and Beauty of Noticing

Image from cover of my ebook. Words on the cover—Jenny Schwartz, Space Rodeo, Interstellar Sheriff. The black and white cover shows many futuristic pointed objects pointing upward on the surface of perhaps a planet. Two round spheres can be seen in the sky along with clouds. On the foreground of the cover a person with a cowboy hat on is silhouetted. The person looks like they might be wearing a gun belt. The area between the objects already described shows a surface with a stream, plants and some hills or mountains.

Picture taken is from my audiobook. The printed words on the cover: New York Times Bestseller, Parable of the Sower, Hugo and Nebula Award-Winning Author, Octavia E. Butler, Narrated by Lynne Thigpen. The color illustration shows a brown skinned woman’s head with a blue glow around it. Her face shows her eyes closed and a slight frown on her face. Only the upper portion of her body is shown. She is wearing a dark brown sleeveless garment with her neck, a portion of her chest and only very upper arms shown. On her chest is a light blue ball with edges seeming to glow. The ball doesn’t seem attached to her. A small portion of her upper arms show with something that looks attached to her arms.
