This is one of my favorite trees I see from my backyard. It has so much character. The branches go every which way. I don’t think it’s been pruned much since it got so tall. It reminds me of the trees in the movie “Lord of the Rings.” I expect it to start walking someday. #trees #blueskytrees

My first embroidery project! I bought pdf patterns of 9 small herbs from Cornelly Co (cornellyco.blsky.social). This herb is Rosemary. It’s stitched in a 4” hoop. I’m still learning, but I quickly finished this & it gave me a lot of satisfaction! #embroidery #craftsky #herb #stitchsky #handmade

I found a set of 4 small embroidered napkins in a box of tablecloths, etc my mother gave me. My maternal grandmother embroidered the napkins long ago (she died when she was 101 in the early 1990’s). In her later years she only crocheted and knitted. #embroidery #needlework #history #handmade

About the time of the 1st death we went to a Seattle Sounders soccer game with lots of other people. When we finally flew home we decided to be cautious & stay away from other people. Soon the US started shutting down & we had to stay home. No one knew then how long it would last. #covid 2/2

I’ve been thinking a lot about the start of Covid. My husband & I were in Seattle from mid Feb until early March. Seattle area had one of the first Covid deaths in the US at end of Feb. I’d read about the virus causing deaths in China and I worried when I heard about the Seattle death. #covid 1/2

My son & his fiancé left yesterday with Duke on a trip to California. He’s always so happy when pick him up! They’ll be back for a few days at the end of March & then fly home with Duke. I miss the little guy, but he’s ecstatic when they can take him with them. #dogsofbluesky #minidachshund
