We're not looking for human cast members although a well trained older dog will be needed and likely listed first on the Call Sheet. Any enquiries, if you would like to know more or would like to be a part of this micro-budget, extremely indie dramatic short then please get in touch. .

I've been tied up with mamma bear duties and have had to turn down a couple of 1st AD jobs but come Aug/Sept I will be fully available to write, direct, 1st/2nd AD or even help produce (in a non-finance role, just making that clear) all things you might need me for!

"Janine is a dream to work with, collaborative, calm, well prepared, a massive team player and also open to input and creative ideas from the actors. She creates a supportive and super positive environment for the entire team." Some LOVELY feedback from a wonderful actor I've worked with recently.

I really need some PAID writing/film work. I know it's super competitive in the industry right now. I'd take on any sort of remote stuff like casting or producer type roles that I can use my networking and organisational skills towards as well as creativity for writing and/directing. THANK YOU!

I've decided to end the Kickstater for The Last Word for now. It's just not the right time to look for funding at the moment with so many other things going on in the world and maybe once we have the trailer ready for State 11, more people may want to jump on board if they can.

Janine Pipe @janinepipe28.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

Anyway if you need a writer or an editor, someone to do interviews, to provide essays or commentaries for DVDs etc. then please think of me. And I am definately open for more directing work! Thank you x

I lost my non-creative job during the pandemic and my creative job due to budget cuts and have now been out of steady employment for 2 years. In that time I've written two books and made 3 short films but as anyone who works in the industry knows, none of that pays the bills.

I was the lead writer for a podcast with over 2.2M subs. And I bring to the table real-life experience as an ex-police officer and I was a Teaching Assistant so am good at wrangling people.

Despite reading graphic novels, I think it would be wise to approach smaller more indie presses as a complete newbie. Any advice much appreciated as always and THANK YOU!!!

They are all horror, one in particular being a bit splatterpunky, thinked Crossed kind of thing. I have absolutely no idea where to even start pitching with this.

Open for freelance writing and editing work and if you're a writer and/or producer with a script that needs a director, particularly if it's action based, please consider me for the role! Or if you're a director who needs a 1st or 2nd AD, again hello *waves*!

The excitment I'm feeling writing this new film script is absolutely a vibe and I hope it continues! I've not experienced the joy of co-writing with your lead actor before but it is so much fun being able to bounce ideas off each other. I feel ALL the good things about this one.
