In our recently submitted grants we had to change “traumatic brain injury” to “concussive brain injury” and “male and female mice” to “male and non-male mice” because traumatic and female are now verboten words that can get our grants killed. It’s insanity.

the designers on the sakuracon maps need to reconsider their icon choices for elevators & restrooms ELEVATORS are where i stand next to strangers to cooperatively achieve higher or lower elevations RESTROOMS are where i go NOT to perform gender, but to perform the dark deeds use a toilet icon.
