Rate making proceedings before a utility commission used to be pretty dry affairs. But now they are where the clean energy transition will be won or lost. Today we filed an extensive case pushing the Washington commission to force PSE to do more to hold down rates and advance clean energy.

I know its hard to keep track of the destructive nonsense that this Administration does. But hoo-boy. Washington's last coal plant has been on track to close for nearly 15 years and its illegal to operate here. Nobody wants it, including the utilities. But nope, Trump ordered it to keep operating.

Today the Admin filed 4 cases attacking state climate policies and initiatives - in Hawaii, Vermont, NY, and Michigan. West coast states likely next. Outrageous and abusive litigation. The HI and MI cases challenge the states' *intention* to bring lawsuits against oil companies for climate harm.
