Ooh -- lovely! I hope one day to have such a garden. Inspiring! In the meantime: "Let us be grateful for the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom." Marcel Proust

The Last Tree. Where we're headed if we don't address our (environmentally) destructive ways. Sorry --- may be a little too bleak for such a lovely Autumn day. My bad. 🫢 Try again, please, Janet!!!

Glorious, aren't they? We have local finches and they're little darlings. These are gorgeous, aren't they? Too beautiful to buy and keep, I reckon, but very tempting. So cheery! Best bought in pairs, if you're gonna. They're very social creatures. 🦜🦜🦜🦜🦜

This! This is where I've been (mentally) the last couple of days: out and about (sometimes just mentally), flying maybe too fast down this woodland path, attending outdoor events, and brainstorming creative studies to determine "what works". I love it when my creativity gets used for good!

I couldn't have said it better. Poet/artist, R.M. Drake: "We were very poor. In elementary school, there was always a yearly book fair. My parents couldn't afford books." He began writing at 7. In 2014, he published his debut collection, Beautiful Chaos, rising to #4 on Amazon's bestseller chart.

Such a gorgeous little songbird! Small but obviously perfectly formed. It's a high-energy, delightful bundle of constant action, brought to us with a song. "Produces sharp chirps, squeaks, trills, and high-pitched chattering calls." (eBird) Awesome! Brings me great joy. Thanks for posting!

Dog Day Afternoon, apparently. So many gentle and adorable moments with dogs today. Or just animals in general. Why is it that animals seem to go right into my heart and soul. Some kind of spooky magic? And yet, they're obviously healers -- all of them. Good! Like angels, but they don't know it.

Oh -- this makes me feel so calm and happy. As the description says, these horses are well cared for. I can tell because I can see shoes on many of their hooves. Shoeing is a big job and a big commitment to protect a horse. Love, love! ❤️

Hello, you lovely pair, you. I shall feel quite well guarded when you're out and about. Please -- feel free to stay, to take up your post nearby, to screech loud and long if danger approaches, and to keep us all safe. And in return, we will protect your environment to best of our abilities. 🙏🤍🙏

Such an elegant and gorgeous addition to my fairly simple day. I love the way she moves -- like she knows she's in high heels and an awesome dress. Thank you for posting her. I love her attitude. 😜🤍

"...look for the light." I always do. Every day. Every minute. I know it's there. I can see it! I see it in people's faces. They so want the light that they have BECOME the light. Tomorrow, we get up and try again. It's a storm out there, but a beautiful one! Goodnight, Blue Sky! Goodnight!

This big boy really knows where it's at and it ain't back there in the shade, apparently. Give me sunshine, sand and sea ANY day, thank you very much. It's going to be 97 today, so I might "make like a heron" and head down to our neighborhood pool for a dip later on. Inspiring! Thanks!

Such a clever idea, Massimo! I found this video that demonstrates the invention: crows finding and depositing cigarette butts for peanuts. Next: we discover televising the process and the reward leads to MORE cigarette butts being dropped in the city. Only sayin' 😐 www.youtube.com/watch?v=TklO...

But we mustn't forget: we are not his intended audience. Nor are the Rep party, who will vote for him no matter what. He targets the sewer rats who LOVE the show, love the pain the rest feel bc they have been maligned for so long. He appeals to them. Every day. The rest will follow. 😠😜

Big, big political event last night, Tuesday. More candidates in attendance than I could name right now. Good people, clearly. Great speeches, and enthusiastic support. I'm resting a little today.

Those Blue Jays. Always watching. Always calling out when something's awry, to warn other birds. The soldiers of the forest, the cops, with a decent uniform to boot. I could do much worse if I were a bird 🙏

Who ME? Oh yeah. YOU. Didn't know your phone did a software upgrade last night and turned itself off, did you? It was off half the day! Got caught with yer pants down, didn't ya, chicki-do? Not a space alien. Just -- embarrassed. 😒

My brain is a little bit here, in the Cascades, today. I have spent time the last two days writing up my memories of a colleague for their Celebration of Life service on Saturday. He and his wife were good friends when I lived near Seattle, with the Cascades out our back doors. 😔 Fills my heart!

Letitia James continues to be fantastic for NY State. Our own AG is also exceptional, but hampered from participating in lawsuits that the state government has not approve him to work on. That would be any that displease their GOP handlers. 🙁
