Jane McKinney @janemckinney.bsky.social · 01/04/2026@scryfall.com please tell me that you’re keeping the new theme forever. I don’t know if my heart can take a return to the clean minimalism of modernity, now that it’s been dipped by the ankle into the heady, nostalgic waters of a more self-expressively maximalist age. 171
Jane McKinney @janemckinney.bsky.social · 18/03/2026Checking in 960 cards for @shoebox.gg last weekend (Ball Pit+Tabletop) Blame my poor camera technique on my zero sleep the night prior And blame the skipped sleep on backsleeving 480 chromatic spheres instead And blame the 480 chromatic spheres on the brain infection I had as a wee lass in China😊 180
Jane McKinney @janemckinney.bsky.social · 16/03/2026What’s better than a Loreseeker pack? That’s right: a second one, seeded into the first Loreseeker’s pack. For my “Stone Soup” pool @shoebox.gg, I included two LS packs—one with 16 fixing lands/spells, and a second one containing the following 16 sharpied cards. 2182

Jane McKinney @janemckinney.bsky.social · 23/07/2025INW CubeFest 2025 this past weekend was a blazing success. ~50 folks, infinite fun, one 7-pod of 100 Ornithopters whose drafters asked me to hop in as head judge to round out the pod, and which I 3-0’d with some chagrin… can’t wait to do it again next year. 3385
Jane McKinney @janemckinney.bsky.social · 09/07/2025Seven stones for seven years. Most marriages only come with one proposal, but our little life together has certainly not been “normal.” We’re functionally different humans from 2018. Jane McKinney @janemckinney.bsky.social · 07/07/2025Yakima is now safe with her owner. Friends and I got back to our BNB today to find a large dog hiding under our deck, with a *very* bad leg wound that looked a few days old. Collar, no tag. The island’s vet is closed. Police located a woman with a lost dog who picked her up crying. I need a nap. 2130
