These amazing, embroidered panels at Oxburgh Hall (Norfolk) were worked by Mary Queen of Scots and Bess of Hardwick between 1569-84 to woodblock patterns from Andre Thevet (Les singulantez de la France antarctique) Conrad Gessner (Historia Animalium) and Pierre Belon (Observations).
