#sunset #Arizona A few clouds threatening in the east and the west and some booming thunder about three times from the west behind the Tucson Mountains and then nothing. 😢 Made for a pretty sunset tonight though.
An Arizona sunset with dark desert plants in the front and a tall Saguaro cactus. Above those is a yellowish sky and in the top half of the picture red and purple clouds with a small light blue strand at the very top.

And an Enumeration of His Failings Two hundred fifty years ago leaders from the original thirteen American colonies met in Philadelphia to approve the Declaration of Independence. Now, a new Declaration is needed to overturn the oppressive and corrupt Republican administration and Congress in Washington. As with many “revolutions,” it begins at home. Edgar Soto, the Democratic candidate seeking to flip Arizona’s Legislative District 17 Senate seat, says voters are looking for relief from rising costs, stronger public schools and a state legislature willing to solve problems – instead of deepening partisan division. In an October 5 meeting of Democrats of Greater Tucson, Soto—a fifth-generation Arizonan, Marine Corps veteran and Pima Community College vice president—said his campaign is targeting independent and Republican voters through extensive door-to-door outreach.
