There are eight pages of gifs just for the word "hot". It's difficult to explain just how important it was that people in the late 1990s / early 2000s knew your links were hot.

When capitalism is forced to reform, it doesn't change the underlying relation. It just relocates the injury. The green transition traded fossil fuels for lithium, so when the minerals changed, the harm was transposed. Now the Atacama desert is being drained for the rest of the world to have clean energy. Reform that shifts the harm around while leaving the relation intact is capitalism's gentle answer to placate its softest critics, and it is very persuasive.

After 15min of updating firmware, and downloading extra firmware, I now discover I'm supposed to "avoid touching" these earbuds while wearing them. They're fucking TINY

Surprised by the crazy amount of lore around the Wipeout racing games. I loved 2097 (& TDR = God Tier art). After naming one of my #NMS ships after it, I went and dove into a wiki. (Favourite trivia so far: 2097 was called "XL" in America cos the market was too dumb to get it was a date?! 😂)
