this is actually the greatest minecraft update of all time. the dappled forest is all I have ever wanted from this game 🍂🍁😭 also I totally predicted the wool stairs (¬‿¬)

A screenshot of the new 'Dappled Forest' biome taken from Minecraft Live May 30 2026, featuring GORGEOUS red, yellow and orange trees. A flourish of exclamation marks sit in the top left corner of the screenshot. At the bottom is another screenshot of a yellow terracotta tree I built two years ago, with text saying 'no more terracotta!!!'.

Above is a screenshot taken from my 19th episode of Unorthoblocks season 4, showing a custom wool stairs block I made for Wool Island (a preposterous location on the server).
Below is a screenshot taken from today's Minecraft Live (30/05/2026) of REAL wool stairs that were just announced (best day ever).

I made an elephant and added it to the Unorthoblocks SMP without telling them (do not tell them.) 🐘 #minecraft #blockbench #minecraftmodels #elephant

A custom-modelled Minecraft elephant against a purple-to-cyan gradient background adorned with a pattern of elephant silhouettes. Text reads:
'an elephant'
'made in Blockbench'

In-game Minecraft screenshot of JampottBong standing next to a chonky elephant, which is bending down to suck grass into its massive trunk.

tidying my desktop after four years is going well

Cropped screenshot of the inside of a folder named 'Confusion' saved to my PC's desktop. It depicts four more folders, titled 'Completely Unrelated Images', 'genuinely no idea what this is', 'SUCH randomness' and 'WHAT IS THIS', and a file simply called 'chair.PNG'.

Quite different to what I usually post on here, but I drew a sheep and ended up being way too proud of it lol, so the people of the blue sky get an unexpected sheep sketch 🐑👍

A realistic sketch of a semi-sunlit brown sheep standing on grass, looking to the side. It is an ink drawing coloured with pencils. Baaaa.

A nice look at the bridge I built in my second episode of the @backyardmc.bsky.social !!

A detailed Minecraft bridge providing passage across a river. It connects a stony cliff to a spruce forest biome.

The same, but from a different, lower angle.

Worked out how to turn Minecraft builds into snowglobes and it's surprisingly simple. Maybe my next Unorthoblocks episode in which I do this will double as a little tutorial 👀 (the falling snow is animated too, you just can't tell in the screenshot lol)

A scaled down version of JampottBong's Unorthoblocks Season 4 Minecraft Home (a medieval-inspired, tall timbered house with a red sloping roof and a big blue-green gable window) inside of a glass block. Specks of snow are also seen inside the glass. All that in combination creates what is basically a Minecraft snow globe. A dark oak pressure plate sits on top of the glass block for decoration.

"December 1st". A second Minecraft screenshot taken at the exact same angle, except JampottBong is now in a Christmas skin. His red, blue and white stripes have been replaced with red, green and white stripes, and the grey parts of the jumper have been coloured dark red. He is also sporting a bright red santa hat and a darker red elytra. The background is the same but coated in snow thanks to the 'WinterPack' resource pack by FutureAzoo
