I've spent most of today mourning my cat Fergus who passed a year ago today (7/18). The grief still feels very fresh and I will never be the same. He was my best friend in the world and my angel in more ways than one. We shared so much. I know he's OK, but I miss him terribly.

I visited my creek this afternoon for a bit. You can see that it's mostly frozen over and you can see the little prints of critters coming for the fresh cold water. They're so tiny!
