My cloudy day yesterday has snow geese overhead … above the clouds, often flying in all directions. They were a bit lost, probably because they are basically home for the winter. There wasn’t a big drive to continue south.

Waiting for a week of rain to start in Nor Cal. Got below freezing for the first time last night. Whew, I had semi-tropicals covered in time or move Plumeria, passion vines, pineapple, sapote, cherimoya. The winter battle of plant survival begins. 😉

@acowallace.bsky.social I said goodbye to our 13 yo Memphis a couple of weeks ago. He is with his siblings, Hab, Brisa, and Tali under the dogwood tree in the backyard. Unless you’ve lived with a dog, you can never understand the connection humans have with canines. Miss you, Memphy.

Have any of you looked at properties outside the US? France looks pretty good to me. Once a property owner plus hoops and paperwork, nearly free healthcare after 90 days! If tRump f’s up Medicare, I might have to go with a $15k/month prescription bill.
