MS: I've noticed that all the way through this conversation David, you've referred to him in the present tense.

DL: You have to keep Angelo alive. I believe life is a continuum, and that no one really dies, they just drop their physical body and we'll all meet again, like the song says. It's sad but it's not devastating if you think like that. Otherwise I don't see how anybody could ever, once they see someone die, that they'd just disappear forever and that's what we're all bound to do. I'm sorry but it just doesn't make any sense, it's a continuum, and we're all going to be fine at the end of the story.

@thejesuslizard.bsky.social last night at Queen Margaret Union, Glasgow! 600mi+ round trip but well worth it to finally see these guys live

My 100 most listened albums of 2024 via @listenbrainz.org. A little disappointed in myself to only have 4 albums on here that were released in 2024 -- but that's a target for next year I suppose

The one and only Sir Paul McCartney last night in Manchester! My first time seeing a Beatle live, it was so much fun!

Political differences. Some people are willing to make sacrifices to benefit other people. Some people are willing to sacrifice other people to benefit themselves.

Robbie Basho was a brilliant, eccentric folk singer+guitarist in the 70s who remains massively underrated in my opinion. If you can gel with his unique style of singing, he's well worth a listen. I can't wait to dig into this new boxset!

Hey, remember that really stupid idea I had a few weeks back? A six-and-a-half-hour supercut of live "Marquee Moon" solos? I finished it and wrote about it here.

Just saw @glenmatlock.bsky.social with @neal-x.bsky.social and @kathyvalentine.bsky.social at the Social here in Hull! Awesome gig, and I even finally managed to nab a setlist which Glen was kind enough to autograph!
