Comrades, what is it called when a jacket has... folded over panels at the centre front fastening like this? I'm trying to design a jacket and I'm looking for alternatives and I don't know what to search for because I don't know what it's called.

@rahaeli.bsky.social Apropos of nothing, every time I see your name, I have to read it twice to stop reading it as "rakali" which is an Australian type of otter (they call it a water rat but it's almost entirely carnivorous). They're very cute!

A very fluffy rakali/aquatic rodent with wet fur sits on large, webbed hind feet. Its front feet are very much smaller and clasped together like hands. Its belly fur is a gold colour, with dark brown on its back.

I was an atypical presentation. I was unhappy with my previous doctor (his diagnosis when I complained of fatigue was that I was fat, in spite of a raised TSH), went to a new doctor with a face like this. Coupled with some abnormal UECs, she referred me to hospital

This is genuinely silly, but using my Denby pottery for a leisurely Sunday put off coffee brings me so much joy. (The mug is not Denby, but the blue matches perfectly)
