People say "The Draft Horse" was Jones' first attempt at making a cartoon that's fast-paced and comedic, but I believe this short marked the first instance of that. This utilises a variety of camera angles for comedic effect and the pacing is better. Cartoon: "Conrad the Sailor" (1942, Chuck Jones)
