Let me just check if my car has the “steering wheel” equipped

Text from a manual. At the end of the first paragraph, “steering wheel” and “if equipped” are highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.

Emergency stop forewarning and braking
control
• Emergency Stop determines that the driver is
unresponsive if the hands-off warning or the
driver's distraction detected by the in-cabin
camera (if equipped) is continued. When the
driver is determined to be unresponsive, a
warning message appears on the instrument
cluster, an audible warning sounds, and the
steering wheel vibrates (if equipped) as a
forewarning.
• If the driver is still unresponsive despite the
forewarning, Emergency Stop controls the
steering wheel and brake pedal to stop the
vehicle within the driving lane. It also alerts (cut off)

Setting up a new dash cam and it seems with suitable connectivity they can (if configured) live update location and stream video to anyone with the app?! There’s quite a lot on the map, I wonder if all those users realised that’s what they were setting it to. I will not be enabling any of that.

Had a hand warmer while I was computering today, which was a problem because it was 30° in my office #caturday #catsOfMastodon

Something terrible networky has happened between me and California this morning, apparently

A graph of ping latency/packet loss for the last 30h. It's a solid 140ms until about 5:30am (UK) and then takes a jump to nearly 220ms and packet loss goes up to about 5 (of 20)

A HomeAssistant dashboard for some power things. Notably, the inverter is "off-grid", the battery is 100% charged, solar is contributing 95.8% of the power needs (battery is covering the rest) and the remaining battery runtime is currently 810 hours.

@Floppy they seem like good quality shirts and the printing is nice. I got this and a couple of the status code ones. Model is 185cm and wears a medium, which fits perfectly.

For #caturday, the last two pictures I took of Tails. One of the things we wanted when we moved house a few years ago was a better outdoor space for the cats, and they really do enjoy spending time outside with us. And of course, an outdoor box is still a box, and he could never resist a box.
