It’s been so long since I listened to any of them , I got the box set years back with Konigsforst, Pop, Zauberberg and Oktember. I remember Konigsforst was my most played out of them back then , I neglected this one a bit but it’s sounding really good tonight

I want to listen to all the music I have and also want to listen to all the music I don’t have and I’d like to be paid for this

Distant thud of a rave that’s finished but still just about ringing in your ears somehow too.

Peculiar pastoral strain of deconstructed folk. Like a gloomy dawn rural crossroads after a night on mushrooms where Coil’s ‘Ape of Naples’ meets early Hood meets Flaming Tunes meets Normil Hawaiins. Thomas Bush - Random Constraint Satisfaction Problems (2026)

I think my fave film of the 2020’s (along with Compartment No.6)

I’d heard lots of the VV set over the years mainly on YouTube and loved it so that was long overdue anyway. Crescent totally new to me though and have kept coming back to it all week. Have a feeling I might not be done there (though will have to be for a bit at least).

Oooh thanks ! I’ve messaged my record guy at my local spot earlier he’s gonna get back to me tomorrow but if he doesn’t come through could I buy that off you if it’s in decent nick?

Which version do I want would you say then either the 86 or 87 double LP?

Oh nice! Gonna listen now thanks

Has a really unique sound though quite hard to pinpoint why. If I squint a bit maybe like a crossroads where Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, Chasity Belt, Lewsberg & Francis Plagne meet. On the surface accessible but some really odd unhurried structures & time signatures bubbling underneath.

Speaking of records that feel out of time/place. A year 2000 record that sounds like it easily could have been made in 1989 or 2026. Timeless weird out of shape pop music in other words. Susanne Lewis - s/t (2000/ 2026)
