Have you seen Glossy Ibis before? There are currently 4 in southern Hampshire, hanging around near @titchfieldhaven nature reserve. They are loving the flooded fields, pools and sedge patches in the north section of the Haven, using the water to search for tasty invertebrates to snack on!

Did you know?? Bullfinches eat the emerging buds of trees in the late winter/early spring. So much so they were maligned as a crop pest in the 50s and 60s by commercial orchards and fruit growers! As many as 800,000 were killed because of this conflict.

I always love seeing Phalarope, this from a few years ago now, but two Greys and a Wilsons came to within 3 feet of the people watching, oblivious to the camera shutters and people. The light was also excellent!
