Very cool, Super Hexagon is one of my favorite games and the Amiga is absolutely a great fit for it 😁

@ericmigi.com the Index still shows a March shipping date on the site. Do you have an updated estimate? I want to snooze my confirmation email and I don't know when to :)

The bus pretty much only discourages 1-2 person commuter cars - still a good proportion of traffic but you need to be in town for 8 hours for even that to even out.

For my family to go to Stockport (our local town) for 2 hours: - Bus: £10 (£9 with a family ticket) - Car: £2.20 (cheaper in other car parks a bit further away)

I suppose I should follow this up by saying that I'm not sure that's a bad thing, just that it doesn't seem to be "fair use" as I understand it.
000
James Belchamber @james.belchamber.com · 12/01/2026
I'm not convinced that "LLM training is always fair use", if this is the intended implication. E.g. if I create: - A novel product that didn't exist before - A product that's almost identical to something in the training data The former looks like fair use but the latter looks like laundering?

It's coffee freezing day 😎 green for Chemex 4-cup, grey for v60 2-cup. Dump these straight out of the freezer and into the grinder for more more consistency from brew to brew - and anecdotally I think the grind profile is more even as well. Cheaper, too!

Aico sell smoke alarms that can transmit reports to your phone by screaming like an old-school modem while their app is listening. Not only incredibly cool but essential since it will tell you why the alarm is chirping! Essential feature for me now. I dunno if they sell them in the US.

"At the high end of those guesses are analysts like F-Squared‘s Michael Futter, who expects a starting price of $799 to $899 for the entry-level 512GB Steam Machine and a whopping $1,000 to $1,100 for the 2TB version." Honestly, that's my expectation as well - around the price of a similar spec PC.
