Although I was vaguely aware of the Marvel adaptations of Star Wars films whilst growing up... TiL (Via Den of Geek) just how weird and vast their other adaptations went... 🫨

That sounds like a weird episode of Rick & Morty.

This is great marketing for Whale Fall...

Sucks when things are so oversubscribed. Or when a good thing gets discovered by everyone else. Thay said, I don't know much about Green Man!

Boomtown is about not knowing most of the acts but being pleasantly surprised. And watching quite a lot of youths get drug addled on the Thursday night and then limp through the rest of the nights. There's an interactive theatre vibe but we didn't really indulge that side.

Same. Glad that I've ticked off the 3-4 day festival experience with Sziget in Budapest the better part of 20 years ago now. And Boomtown more recently. But Glasto just seems like a lot. Boomtown, thought awesome, a was a test of anxiety battling in itself and that's not quite as big a festival.

Felt overindulged this morning and was on the fence about whether or not to go out tonight for the football this afternoon. Fortunately decided on 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿match at home with just the 2 glasses of wine (It merited happy drinking), takeaway curry, then a film double bill. Blissful and the right choice.

Soulm8te was brilliant. As much as I love both M3gan films, this was the most out and out horror film of the three and still feels like even more of a timely anti AI screaming warning than the previous two films in that universe.

Hahahaha... I was pondering whether that was a ludicrously named venue for half a moment before I realised you meant IRL. 😆

This melts my heart as much as little work-dog's adorable mush.

Also, during this international break, I'm gonna take a moment to ponder why I still post so much on Fetlife. That's kinda Flashback Friday related too in that I occasionally post pics from various points over the last decade and a half. Again I don't know why. Bit of an OCD offshoot I guess.

www.reddit.com/r/soccer/s/p... Quite enjoying the rise and rise of Troy Parrott. As an aside, could he actually have been Spurs' Kane successor if they had more faith in him? Or would staying there have actually held him back?

I am not joking when I say this.
Spotify, Apple Music, and streaming in general is over.
Al music is now very, very good. You just don't know yet because all Al music circulating today is from ~2-3 generations ago.
Suno v6 pro et al has solved infinite personalized music.

BBC news giving Jeffrey Archer a little puff piece this morning is pretty gross.

Seen in the Shoreditch wild today... had no choice but to meme this travesty. If it's supposed to be Hugo and not Bart... well it's still awful. 🫣

Been chipping away at various uncompleted bits on Hollow Knight. I'm not masochistic enough to try and platinum it or anything but I'm shocked at some of the parts I've got through. Almost kidding myself into giving Returnal another go after some of the mini feats on this. 😆

... I loaded from a tape and turned into the video file for their channel that will live on until we die. It was an inconvenience at the time, now it's kinda cool. 'Digitally remastered.' Kinda. Technically, but yeah.

Whenever we get drunk, we occasionally end up watching a Queen video... and I forget that I digitised every single one of these things from tape for them. 😆 Every Queen video you watch with their branding...

There's defo people at our local who harbour those beliefs and one genuinely unironically called London 'woke' the other day. On the whole I try and avoid politics there - would be a lot harder with a close friend though.

Brett has main character syndrome. Brett does not realise.

010

Doglett @jamed.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

'I see boat people...' These people are insane. I honestly don't think about 'small boats' during the month unless some tedious story/commentator/grifter is thrown at me, on TV or FB. People like Brett probably have it occupy most of their waking thoughts. Like it's an existential threat. 🫣

Oh my gawd... this comes out this week and it looks as unhinged as you'd hope. The Muppets take The Marvel Universe. 😝

We over celebrated that sumptuous Bees win last night. As a result we really haven't gone very far today. It's a nice feeling to not have to. However, we have an inkling to watch Transformers '86 in the cinema tomorrow. I last saw it on the big screen as a tiny person 40 years ago. 🙃

Doglett @jamed.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Well that's fucking mental.

Not one, but two work dogs today. ☺️

The Bees second(ish) string team already looks so comfortable in the cup this season. And tbh, Wilson has looked sharper than Thiago. 😶 Still confused watching this tie, with what is essentially three potential first choice left backs on the pitch... at the same time. I know KLP is in midfield.

Matthew Rhys with a double Emmy win, for two different series. I'm glad he's properly getting the plaudits now. Widows Bay series 2 also confirmed. Yuss!

C'mon, it's NUFC, it's what we do. 🫣 Didn't think it would be that abject though.

FFS, unreal sloppiness.

000

Doglett @jamed.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

We can go 3rd with a win at Elland Rd. So obviously we're going to have our first loss of the season right? 🫣

Doglett @jamed.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I think there's some truth in that.

I mean, I don't know if it would a Mastermind subject or owt but yeah... I blame that album artwork, left an indelible mark on this 80s child. Didn't even read the novel until years later though.
