I often think back to some of my favorite memories at cons, and more than a few involve my limited but always appreciated interactions with @jhnenvee.bsky.social, the man may be some sort of spooky goblin demon, but he's the nicest spooky goblin demon I've ever met.

@danslott.bsky.social Loves your story in TASM 1000, great premise and execution.....but way to end the issue on a bummer note lol. Seriously though I loved the whole thing.

Since I'm no longer living in California I had to order this online, first Major Spiderman Milestone I've gotten that I didn't get from @arsenalcomics.bsky.social a bitter sweet feeling. Glad to see they're still doing well though.

Great Article about the Geller situation, helped me grapple with my own conflicting feelings in the matter, this sums up some of the more subtle issues at play very well. If you're like me and still having trouble processing the who thing I recommend giving this a read it might help clear your head.

Disney- Releases a Muppets show special for a modern audience that does crazy good in the ratings and reviews. Approves and Delivers on Muppets x Marvel Crossover comic that is being hailed as one of the best comics of the year. Also Disney- We're not doing a full Muppet Show, it wouldn't work.

Comicbook fact that sounds completely insane but is 100% true when you think about it. "Dark Claw exists because of Kyle Rayner"

100

Jambie D"as in devil" Jimmy @jambiethejimmy.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Sometimes I just think about the fact that from a certain perspective Kyle Rayner is absolutely responsible for the DC and Marvel Universes fighting each other in the 90s and that's kinda hilarious. #comicbooks #greenlantern

#Lanterns is a solid 8 out of 10, but it's missing 2 things that would make it perfect.

Just watched 9 to 5 for the first time, and I think it's hilarious that Dolly Parton's character's ending is literally just "and then she became Dolly Parton"

@ronmarz.bsky.social As an obsessive Kyle Rayner fan, I'm curious with the exception of white (because we all know he deserves it) what color of the power spectrum do you think fits Kyle best?

Okay so legit one of the things I love about One Piece is it is arguably the only show I can think of that can have a money that's literally 1000 episodes worth of pay off moments. I'm on Egghead for reference and some very old friends just came to back up Luffy. This is legit amazing. #onepiece

@lindsayellis.bsky.social Referring to Joanne as the anti Dolly is one of the most ingenious descriptions of someone's character Ive ever heard, I'm almost annoyed I didn't think of it myself. Anyway thanks for making a whole video reminding my why this particular celebrity death hit so hard.

Been watching The Ritchous Gemstones with my mom, finished season 3 only for the final scene to have Dolly Parton's cover of "Heaven Let You're Light Shine Down" playing needless to saying I'm crying now.

I'd like just one day this week where I don't have to post a tribute to a fallen hero. Rest Well Mr. Cullen, you showed us all what it meant to be a real leader.

Jambie D"as in devil" Jimmy @jambiethejimmy.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

I was a weird kid growing up in central Florida, so yeah the passing of both Dolly and Mr. Tim Curry very much feels like someone just ripped out a peice of my soul. I just have to remember they both did their part making the world better now its time for us to honor them by following their examples

I am far more annoyed by the people acting like hating on LSP is some sort great uniting factor for good, than anything that movie could ever do. Like great the most annoying parts of every fan base have picked a new target to deflect from their own failings, hurray.

000

Jambie D"as in devil" Jimmy @jambiethejimmy.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Okay this may be a hot take, but I don't think hating LSP united fandoms, it just gave all the annoying shit heads who don't know how to simply "not engage with media they don't like" from all of them a central gathering point. It united entitled dickheads from all over.

I just learned that Dolly Parton has passed..she was one of the most positive influences on this earth, and will be deeply missed. Dolly was the proof that Southern Hospitality was an actual thing, a person that made the choice to spread positivity and acceptance over fear and hate, an icon for sure

#protomen Got my act 3 Vinyle, and yep this album is just a beast. While I'm more than proud to have it on cd, the vinyle release just really proves how solid they are as band. If your a fan of the story I can't recommend getting a copy of it on Vinyle enough, the little extras justify it.

I've reached a point of mental maturity to where I'll want to respond to a post of social media and my brain can and will tell me " No you're too drunk to have a solid take on this, just don't post anything" and I'm super glad I have that reflex.
