Thiefling ✨️ I was the worst thief in Baldur's Gate; never stole and only picked locks we already had a key for. There will always be a place in my heart for those who shared the journey with me. Except for Shadowheart; fuck Shadowheart.

I know I'm extremely depressed, so I'm having trouble feeling things anyway, but I'm extremely disappointed in RE9. All the things that would have excited me weren't there, and what was just felt lackluster. It was an important game for me, and I feel like they let me down.

I'm a firm believer that Dark Souls 2 takes place after 1 and 3, chronologically, and I'm gonna rant about it below. I'll add on more as I think about it.

Something I've been thinking about: does blue magic in Dark Souls / Elden Ring hurt you physically? Like gravity magic probably does because it's like force and giant rocks. But soul spear? Glintstone? Do they damage your physical body or something more spiritual? And then what of holy damage?

I'm excited about RE9 zombies retaining behavior from their lives IF they have 1) a variety of behaviors and 2) you can find environmental hints or glean clues from documents. I do not want to just have to sit there hiding while I watch a zombie and memorize it's pattern, though.

Thinking of how Dark Souls is about a system that's forced to continue indefinitely even though it's causing the world to rot and bringing immense suffering to the people of Lordran just because old people who have already lost their souls are afraid to let go of power.

This is Yetzahl. I'm trying to develop his character design so I can start traumatizing him. It's still a work in progress. Any advice/constructive criticism is welcome!

There are rumors that a remake of Resident Evil 0 is in the works, and I don't really see the sense in that. I think it would make more sense to remake RE1 and have Zero as a extra content, sort of like Separate Ways.

Being alive is a tragedy. The awareness of how little distinguishes me from a monster, and the impermanence of everything with meaning. I can make choices with what I'm given, but fundamentally there will never be enough energy or time. The love I have will never be spent.

Finding the #DarkSouls fandom page for Gwyndolin rather transphobic. It suggests that Gwyndolin's feminine presentation was imposed on her and that she was psychologically unwell, citing the descriptions of the Reversal Ring and Moonlight Robes. However🧵

"Gwyn made him wear women's clothing and gave him a magic ring which would allow Gwyndolin to move and act in a feminine way, leading him to behave 'like a dark and fleeting goddess'."

"Gwyndolin was psychologically unfit to become the next ruler, still playing the feminine role imposed on him by his father Gwyn"

It's funny that Monster Hunter Wilds was like "maybe we shouldn't make our own species because we don't know how this could impact the environment in the future" and like a month later companies are like "hey we made our own species"

Has anyone had any problems with Monster Hunter Wilds on an AMD card? Mine is underpowered for the game, but it's been doing surprisingly well. I'm curious if there's some incompatibility with Nvidia drivers.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is surprisingly anti-Capitalist. I know it's not extremely deep, but I wonder if it was a gateway for some gamers who weren't acquainted with the idea that the rich are the real thieves.

I checked the math three times, and if you went to a high school with a student body of 10,000 people, statistically, the number of people in that high school who would have sought any kind of gender-dysphoria-related surgery would be zero. And that's if you round up.
