My favourite Prussian (yes, I had a favourite Prussian!) has passed away.

Yes, and none of them worked/lived long enough to beat Siw's record. Unless Jacqueline Boyer is still working?

I have this idea that she's the ESC alumni with the longest post-contest career. As it stands now she's at 66 years and still counting!

Michael's travel shows were a Friday night staple at my dad's house. It's hard to imagine today how unknown large parts of the world were to the average European.

Spotify just made me realise that it's been nine years since Laura and Koit got lost in Verona and I haven't felt so "dated" in a long time... #agingeurofanproblems

Although beautiful I can't really connect with "Dorvobáiki". Caroline on the other hand is a star in the making. Captivating performance and an absolute pro. #SGP2026

I've been rushing to get home in time for #SGP2026 and although a bit late I'm so excited for tonight's show!

It's hard to keep yourself from going full-on Kathy Najimy when "Salve Regina" is one of the hymns at church.

If I had to choose one single negative to English being the main language of international pop culture it would be that Mylene Farmer isn't the global superstar she and her artistry deserve to be.

What a treat! If you haven't watched it already, then Ashley Hicks' three episode series about BP on YouTube will be something you'd enjoy.

As a Swede I wholeheartedly believe that if, unlikely as it is, Felicia got disqualified for criticising Israel's participation in Eurovision it'd be a worthy price to pay for not playing along with the EBU to placate Israel and its genocidal and colonialist agenda.

Felicia won yesterday and it started right away: "Generic, lazy, songwriting by numbers, Melfest machine fodder etc" and then today: "Israel, Israel, Israel"... Thank God I'm tapping out because I couldn't take three more months of this.

How interesting with a marriage to unite the two branches of the House of Este. Knowing me I'll spend the rest of the day trying to figure out if there have been others.

None of the other contestants in the final comes close to her hype, her streaming numbers or her current popularity. Other songs and artists are popular, but not on a level enough to threaten her.

It could be a close call, but the combined strength of the juries and the large public support for Felicia should be enough to keep Fadji from snatching Sångfågeln. I hope ...

The voting system gets more delulu for every tweak to it they make. All this instead of just limiting the amount of songs you can vote for in the app.
