My #espc24 wendsday was packed full of sessions. Most of them have been good and inspiring. The case study of Chris O‘Brian about their Private GPT Approach for HS2 was one highlight. The day ended with a Mead at Aifur. Great day. Now it’s time for the keynote hold by Paula Januszkiewicz.

Beginning in September you will be able to assign retention labels via GraphAPI (beta). That's a pretty cool change for M365 compliance admins and consultants! Change MC672527

Retention labels can be applied to items in SharePoint and OneDrive for Business programmatically today using CSOM and REST APIs. To offer more flexibility with our products and a more scalable solution, we’re excited to introduce these 4 new Microsoft Graph APIs:

Set (apply) a retention label to items in SharePoint and OneDrive for Business
Get metadata information for the retention label applied to an item
Remove the retention label from the item
Lock and unlock record labels (records versioning)

We just had the 'breakthrough moment' in a scenario where a #aad guest user should access an onprem sap that only supports Kerberos based auth. With shadow accounts, F5, KCD, claim transformation, SSO, etc... The devil still is in the details, but now it works!
