Works pretty well also without flags (latest chrome) 😀 Small (maybe) bug in when combined with field-sizing: content. When resizing window causes input to grow. Not sure if it is related to frame-sizing or field-sizing (maybe @bram.us knows)

For other (and mixed) units you need to cast (@property) the offset and delta components before the tan atan2 division part. This ensures compatible lengths Silly example (chrome 85, firefox 128, safari 16.4)
Mixed units progress fallback

@kevinpowell.co you could also consider including 'the future way' for when css functions are supported 🙂

from, to and is breakpoints using css toggles

...In case you don't want 'min-max' breakpoints you can use css toggles - now you just need to remember order matters.
'from' breakpoints using css toggles and container style

This works - just be aware styles won't carry over the way media queries does (same for the style() version)
non overlapping breakpoints using name-only containers

Nice 😎 For even more scroll-feature-maxxing you could also use scroll-target-group and :target-current to set navigation highlights

I thought the cos was quite clever - didn't think of that My non-joke take would be misusing typed arguments to force mod computation 🤗
/* (mis)using typed arguments to trigger computation */
@function --IsEven(--int <integer>, --mod <integer>: 0) {
	--mod: mod(var(--int), 2);
	result: if(style(--mod: 0): ;);
}

@bram.us @tabatkins.com CSS Question @property does not seem to affect variables inside @function body (chrome 151). You can workaround it by (mis)using arguments - but it feels hacky. Is this a bug or? PS. might we one day be able to do simple types like .elm { --color <color>: red; }

CSS functions are going to be awesome Fluid type scale in 3 lines of code 😍 @bram.us I couldn't find it documented is the option to use other arguments as fallback/default value just how Chrome implemented it or is it per spec? --fn(--a <length>, --b <length>: var(--a)) Demo shorturl.at/l9eYw

Having some kind of counter scope + naming would be awesome. Something similar to counter-reset and counter-increment... But I guess this has already been discussed :) ...something like:

Who knew AI would turn out to be Little Bobby Tables
A four-panel xkcd comic.

First panel, a teacher is on the phone with a parent , “Hi, this is your son’s school. We’re having some computer trouble.”

Second panel, the parent replies, “Oh dear—did he break something?” The teacher says, “In a way—”

Third panel, the teacher asks, “Did you really name your son ‘Robert’); DROP TABLE Students;–’?”

Fourth panel, the parent responds, “Oh, yes! Little Bobby Tables, we call him.” The teacher says, “Well, we’ve lost this year’s student records. I hope you’re happy.” The parent adds, “And I hope you’ve learned to sanitize your database inputs

Thanks for sharing 🤩 Small question regarding the dropdown list - is it planned that it should render as a window like the current implementation or will it be in the document
Select vs. customizable select. The regular select shows the dropdown list in a separate window the custom renders the list inside the document

Sass maps are great, together with getter functions, for providing warnings/throwing errors. Note how you can use the & to render out the selector that causes the issue 😀

I think you can fix this using unicode-bidi: bidi-override; combined with a <span> to cancel out direction Example: codepen.io/jakob-e/pen/...

Sass is far from dead and most of what it does great should not be native to CSS 🙂 Most functions in my world are coupled to a mixin for flexible use and both are mostly related to introspection/linting and composition - e.g.
SCSS helper function + mixin ensuring specific content is not rendered twice during the final CSS assembly.
