❤️We sent our response in. Time to teach Discord this lesson once again because twice clearly wasn't enough.

For the third time this year, Discord is rolling out a feature that none of its users wants, which is actively invasive towards its users, whose security has been compromised, and does nothing to provide any modicum of safety for its adult users, let alone minors. And where age verification has been implemented, by law or otherwise, such systems have been breached as recently as the 7th of July 2026. This is on top of the myriad of false positives that lead adults with accounts as old as the platform itself being locked out of their own features.

As of 2026, Discord has demonstrably proven to be untrustworthy and irresponsible with personal data, and has been shown to act in bad faith with the rollout of these systems, especially as actual child predators on discord go unpunished. The userbase does not want age verification and is cancelling their nitro subscriptions en masse. If you care for the bottom line, global age verification will not go through.
