It’s funny you mention it. The only reason I haven’t let this one die is that I drove it home across Nova Scotia in a snow storm with my dad following me. It’s the coldest I’ve ever been. But what a memory!

Wow! I always have a project bike or two going on, but I have found that whether it’s with age or with the exploding deer population, I enjoy going slower a lot more these days. Currently putting around on a 1979 cb750, but it’s on its last legs.

I really enjoyed the early 90’s. I think everyone loves that period of their life though, but I remember the world feeling so unbelievably promising. If you ever read Microserfs by Douglas Coupland, he captured it pretty well. Man - I wish my son could grow up in better times than these.

I’m now listening to White Mythology on audiobook. I’ve never read the same book back to back, but this is a terrific read, and I want to make sure I take it all in. Were I an English prof, I’d teach this one. Of course, were I an English prof, I’d be fired.
