Honestly, takeaway food is so bad in my town that even when I'm in minus spoons territory to do anything and just eat offer 50% anything, I'd rather cook than give money to those sleezy assholes (restaurant owners).

I am alive (just) 😆 every morning I wake up feeling like a bus has hit me. Mentally feeling well. I plucked all my facial hair yesterday because shaving causes so much distress afterwards. It took so long 🫪 More self care then a weekend of birthday surprises and shenanigans 🙌

Quick health update: feeling less ugh about myself. I have a little more energy but not much. Still taking it easy but I can slowly do more things like make music again which is fun. Made some more progress with mixing new songs I've recorded so far. Just want this bloody gallbladder out now 😆

Ugh this shiddy pixel 7a is finally dying on me (bad battery) I'd love to get the new commodore phone but it's expensive as hell for a dumb phone. A realistic alternative is the Fair phone 6 with their privacy OS. Anyone used a Fair phone before?

Doing a short set here on Sunday. It won’t be the sort of thing I usually do, it’ll be quite slow, and obviously won’t fly at a club night, but I really like it, and EMOM’s are the right place to play that stuff.

Just got back from seeing the Steve White trio at the lighthouse in Deal. I've always been a fan of his drumming back with the style council but holy moly... I'd definitely consider him being one of the greatest drummers ever. The dedication to rhythm and improvisation is second to none.

One more day left of antibiotics and hopefully I'll hear from the hospital. No pain for a while now but still incredibly weak and tired. Managed to go for a walk which was nice. Bought some new sounds for the MPCs once I'm feeling better to make music again x

I know it's Tuesday but what a heck of a weekend. In between having tummy pains equivalent to giving birth, diarrhea and vomiting; I've DJ'd, had our grand daughter stay over for 3 days and today was my son's 15th birthday. Finally I can rest with some Pastel de nata & watching a Gladius longplay
