I don't even know where to start. an insane jj history. lines are going everywhere, it's like 50 different changes, interdependent, but 36 of them come off of one branch then either lead to various megamerges or to other fixes

Yeah, less of a reason to do it when using Gerrit, but it's nice to have a bunch of GitHub PRs going, given stacking stuff there is unfortunately not possible The auto rebasing would have been helpful when doing perf testing various Go compiler stuff, though (git can do it but it sucks)

I assume you mean go.dev/cl/799984 and go.dev/cl/801620; these kinds of changes I think have always been allowed go.dev/ref/spec#:~:... You can use pkg.go.dev/golang.org/x... with -compile=fma to sus out issues, I think, or GOCOMPILEDEBUG=fmahash=...

Yeah, it's just a bit annoying when you for example do a readdir and just have a list of names and don't know if something is supposed to be a dir or not, or it's user-provided info, etc

Someone tried this on the discord the other day and it made the API's types something like 40 percent slower We in fact have a version of the old compiler that worked like that and it was so bad we turned it into a benchmark 😅 But if we want to do that we should do it now...

I've bumped all of the @typescriptlang.org compiler usage in @puzzmo.com to now use TS7 and the new compiler API. All looks very reasonable and has every feature I needed for codegen and AST introspection Literally no notes :+1:
