I have been feeling a profound hopelessness trying to figure out if my friend who works for the NSA is alive/dead. He's been out of communication since the embassy in Baghdad was attacked months ago. This is how military families are feeling wondering if their loved ones are alive.

We saw the Ramses exhibit in Dallas in '89 and it was mind blowing! Went on the last day and were one of the last people in the building. I'm glad these things are in EGYPT now!

I know this is a joke, but one went by on the path below our house, and I made eye contact, and he was like "you know, I really wouldn't mind lying on a pillow in your house, being offered fine cuts of meat..." We had a parting of the ways on flea collar issues though.
