Beat Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga on my Anbernic RGSP in about 11.5 hours. It was fun revisiting this game. I remember struggling a lot as a kid. I was breezing through as an adult. By late game, I was one-shotting bosses. The game still very much holds up.

I really love how specialized the Anbernic RGSP is. It is specifically designed to play GBA games in a SP form factor. It is the most near-authentic experience with minor modern conveniences.

There's also a minor subplot that gets dropped in the anime that I love, showing how despite Asahi's tough demeanor, he abhors violence as a result of his abuse. He wants to break the cycle of abuse.

This monologue is the best scene of the show so far. After witnessing adults who "lose control", she keeps tight control of her own emotions. When she encounters a new emotion, she almost loses control herself. She has to reframe the emotion before she can mask it properly.

I really liked this somber section of Yani Neko. I felt really bad for Yaku. Even the landlord was willing to tag along if he didn't have prior commitments. It really cements that Yani is Yaku's BFF.
