nearly fainted completely. fucking discharged electrostatic into the LCD display by accident and the display initially looked destroyed. but I managed to restart the display by shorting the power and got it back. 😰 next time, I will take off my socks when handling them at home.

It runs my custom firmware called Jade Nametag OS (lol) It keeps track of time, its internal temperature and performs simple battery management like tracking battery levels. Plus it has its own animation engine and large text renderer! ;3

Here is the equations I came up to determine the planer occlusion detection. Simple plane and 3D line intersection to bound the rendered elements within the viewport to avoid non-linearity. Kinda missed doing this kind of stuff in electrical engineering school, minus the signal analysis.

I am excited to present Part 1 of the horrible system I implemented called planar occlusion detection to mitigate the non-linearity of objects near the camera. I only applied the fix to the left and right side, so any lines drawn to the bottom is skewed. But damn it looks good!

Figured out the issue with the perspective as objects approaches the camera. Apparently some weird non-linearity behavior with arc tangent where its output cannot exceed 90 degrees. So, the solution is using vector math to determine the end stop of each position and avoid the non-linearity areas.

Decided to not go with using R##### Studio for the 3D visual effects for the Banff movie. Decided to make my own custom pipeline for 3D rendering. Made a theory on 3D perspective and tried implementing it. It looks good... but objects positions are heavily skewed near the camera...

tried to use my bitwarden host and found that it had an expired certificate with my own self signed certificate authority. tried to renew and deleted the old private key with a new one. bloody brilliant anyways, going to email myself this shit and re-setup this new cert on all my devices. sigh

Fixed my JadesDB system for real (I think). JadesDB was my 2023 goal of making my own efficient database solution for the rest of my NodeJS projects. However, it suffered ePointers logical issues and I think I might have fixed it. I will explain more in down below but I am proud of my work. :)

Hmmm, such similarities. It looks we have come full circle (or nearly) four years later to have a AI necklace pretending to be a friend. I seriously hate AI and this I do not believe is a way to "fix" loneliness. It is a much deeper problem and yet everyone tries to bandage it with shitty AI.
