bye bye spine. You will not be missed for all the issues you gave me. I Amma downgrade Jade's wiring to a simple setup like before. February 2026 - August 2026 VF - Animefest Lasted 4 cons and several meet ups.

Freakin technology is such an asshole. My MacBook Air M3 decided to not accept any charge at all and wants to die. The Cricut Design Studio is broken across all platforms and doesn't have a redudancy in case Bluetooth fails . What a horrible long night.

I find it funny that when I use the linux kernal 6.2.1 in my bios. I didn't think the actual version would have touched me deeply. It happens to be the version that has support for Raspberry Pi 4K@60 Hz, and M1 Apple support. Coincidence?? I think not!

Made the fourth revision of my Wearable RGB nametag!! The fourth revision aims to be more slimmer than the third revision which is the above model. Made a 2nd board for a special cutie at the Calgary Expo. uwu, he will probably say no but... it's a gift!

Jades 🔜 VF, FUREH, CALFUR @jades.dev · 21/04/2026

I am excited to present Part 1 of the horrible system I implemented called planar occlusion detection to mitigate the non-linearity of objects near the camera. I only applied the fix to the left and right side, so any lines drawn to the bottom is skewed. But damn it looks good!

220

Jades 🔜 VF, FUREH, CALFUR @jades.dev · 21/04/2026

Figured out the issue with the perspective as objects approaches the camera. Apparently some weird non-linearity behavior with arc tangent where its output cannot exceed 90 degrees. So, the solution is using vector math to determine the end stop of each position and avoid the non-linearity areas.

Decided to not go with using R##### Studio for the 3D visual effects for the Banff movie. Decided to make my own custom pipeline for 3D rendering. Made a theory on 3D perspective and tried implementing it. It looks good... but objects positions are heavily skewed near the camera...

The Furry Banff Trip Vid is still a WIP!!! But want to share some excellence news! Using R##### Studio and my custom multi-threaded renderer that can make custom scenes with a alpha channel. There is a chance I can complete this project!~ Just need to borrow some data from Open Street Maps~

R##### Studio helping facilitate my 3D rendered maps for my UI and Visual Effects for the movie.

QGIS desktop allowing me to export data from the OSM

My custom render engine in NodeJS that utilizes my animation framework I have built over the years.
