I just went up and down the stairs, and I didn’t wheeze once!! I feel fine!! I also feel like taking Bailey for a walk after all that! And do the dishes! And sweep downstairs!

This is insane, but I only used one puff of my rescue inhaler yesterday. The first time since using Advair. Usually i have to use albuterol 4 times a day. This Advair is magic, I swear. #asthma #medical #positive

(11) All this time I have been struggling. Coughing, wheezing, extreme fatigue, and daily headaches. These things have kept me from living my life in general. And all I needed was a simple asthma treatment. I’m relieved that I have it now. But I wish someone had noticed me earlier. #asthma

(10) That’s not good at all. I’ve had several doctors over the years, and not one thought it might be a good idea to give me an actual asthma treatment. Hell, some of them didn’t listen to my heart, let alone my lungs

(9) The most some people use those rescue inhalers once or twice a week, sometimes less. Whereas I was using a rescue inhaler four times a day every day. Sometimes more.

(8) I scare people because when I sleep, they can’t tell if I’m breathing or not. Other times I’m coughing all night so my body gets no sleep. I got tested for asthma when I was 15, and all they gave me was a rescue inhaler for immediate relief that is short term.

(7) I caught bronchitis all the time, I struggled to catch my breath whenever I exerted myself, and winter time guaranteed intense coughing fits that would make my entire body hurt and my head dizzy.
