Well ... I've always wanted a skylight. Just didn't think this is how it would happen. Unfortunately because of where the fire was, we weren't able to move anything that was salvageable out of the apartment today while investigations continue.

We're okay-ish for now. I think we saw an above average amount of rain in June, which is coming in handy. More concerned about the wildfile threat. We had the Ross fire flare up last week over 70 miles to our west and it's up to almost 90,000 acres.

Smoke from the wildfire out past Palo Pinto has made its way to Fort Worth. It's real bad. The last time I can remember smoke being this bad in DFW was 2007, I think.
