Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 02/06/2026@hami.sh and I popping in to say hello from @cascadiajs.com 👀 031
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 02/06/2026so hype for this! thanks for the great talk @brittanyellich.com just updated my handle to my domain to get started 🎉 let's goooooo! 130
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 12/03/2026Raycast, cmd + tab? Three-finger-swipe-up gesture? I'm used to *organized chaos with lots of windows open*, so looking forward to a better system here 😅 000
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 12/03/2026Decided on a 14" MBP for my next work computer 💻 This will be my first time ever having the smaller size, but I've been convinced by many it's the way to go, especially for focus. Now my question is - if you're working in full screen more often with a smaller size, how to you manage your windows? 200
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 09/02/2026guess i should have pushed to prod at the end of the week, huh github? 010
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 16/01/2026me: "i really want to lean into analog things this year" also me: *builds a project / habit tracking app from scratch in week 3* 100
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 12/01/2026Anyone else made the switch from a larger to smaller screen and liked it? I have a feeling I'd just need to be more intentional about window management, which isn't a bad thing at all! 000
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 12/01/2026I love my 16" Macbook Pro, but it's a *brick* 🧱 and sometimes barely fits on tables at coffee shops... I'm just hesitant to give up that screen space 100
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 12/01/2026As someone who works from their laptop most of the time, I'm having an unusally hard time deciding between another 16" laptop or moving to a 14" when I upgrade. 100
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 10/12/2025Haha if only I had actually modified it instead of faking it via the devtools 🤣 Now I'm kinda tempted to do it for real... 100
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 10/12/2025@rathes.me I won't tell anyone if your streak jumps to a very large number suddenly 👀🤣 110
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 10/12/2025Instead, I'm building this thing back the old fashioned way! No funny business here! 💪 Also, week 984, here we come 110
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 10/12/2025Earlier this year, I led the development of the Streaks feature in @buffer.com so when I lost my streak a couple weeks ago I was very tempted to log into MongoDB and *cough* accidentally repair my streak *cough*. I would never do that, of course 240
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 08/12/2025I had been trying to learn via youtube for years, but honestly nothing beats a hands-on approach. We made around 15-20 lattes over the course of an hour and a half, and got valuable feedback and guidance during each one. Which design should I try next?? 000
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 08/12/2025Finally arrived at a much larger heart after a few reps! 100
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 08/12/2025Started off a little small with this guy. Didn't pour fast enough while building the body of the heart. I wayyy overcorrected on my second attempt, but started to get the hang of it. 100
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 08/12/2025My lovely coworkers at @buffer.com gifted me a latte art workshop a while back, and I got to attend it over the weekend ☕ Check it out: 130

Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 16/09/2025My iPhone only ever leaves its case when I install the latest iOS version and I cannot explain this behavior. 000
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 19/08/2025writing code while my lil' bean knits socks is rather delightful @hankgreen.bsky.social 010
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 19/08/2025Excited to knock out some books, take a few bubble baths, and otherwise *chill* for a bit. Probably get a massage, too, let's be honest 🧖 What are your favorite ways to relax at home or in your city? 000
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 19/08/2025We haven't traveled much this year (hooray down payment savings!), so I really haven't been using PTO as a result. Luckily, because Buffer is the best place to work of all time, I'm taking a two-and-a-half week staycation at the end of this month ✨ 100
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 19/08/2025Something I've learned this year: burnout can happen even when things are going well! By all measures, both life and work are better than ever, but I'm *tired*. Like a deep, deep tiredness 😴 100
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 13/08/2025The afternoon coffee is a dangerous game. Will it keep me awake all night? Who knows! 🤷♂️ 000

Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 29/07/2025usually desk-jacob or coffee shop-jacob is the most productive, but today, couch-jacob has been getting things DONE 💪 010

Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 18/07/2025One of my favorite perks of working at Buffer is our coffee shop coworking allowance 🫡 It’s amazing how getting out of the house for an hour or two does wonders for my productivity (and mental health, let’s be honest) Prefer a coworking space? We’ll cover that instead! 120
Jacob Chadwell @jacobchadwell.com · 11/07/2025Always love making a giant pot of veggie broth once I save enough scraps. Makes a delicious base for some of our favorite soups: minestrone, pasta e fagoli, and lentil soup 😋 100
