I've been thinking about reviewer workload in computing education research, so I wrote up my thoughts into a blog post: academiccomputing.wordpress.com/2025/01/22/r... Shorter review forms, shorter papers, reducing discussion - plus some more dramatic ideas.

Does anyone know of any think tanks or respected organisations that share or publish thought pieces or recommendations that have a focus on Computing Science?

Looking for opportunities! Do you deliver a CS related course at college or uni in Scotland & can spare 30 mins of a class before summer for amazing CS teachers to give a short 15-20min talk, followed by questions to your students. Hope to inspire more to consider CS teaching.

Our Low Carbon Computing workshop #LOCO2024 is taking place now in Glasgow and online! We already had a nice keynote chat with Anne Currie and now we are in the first regular session on Energy Efficiency! 💻🔬🌱
