Initally made this sketch for the OC October prompts, but never actually ended up using it. So I'd figure I might as well share it now. #art #OCArt #sketch

A pencil sketch of Joe and Sole having a friendly conversation.

Day 8: Relationships. Another one I have a lot to talk about but didn't have the time to do so. So enjoy this little sketch showing off some of the Sole related relationships I hardly ever talk about. #OC #OCart #sketches

A pencil sketch of an assortment of chapters that have relationships with Sole, excluding Jade and Sara. Front and center we have close friends Sole and Ironia holding hands and gleefully talking with each other. To the right is Ironia's mom, Diaina, watching over the pair. In the left corner is Joe and Nayla, fighting over who is the better "older sibling" friend.

Day 7: Backstory. Didn't get a chance to write it all out, so enjoy this sketch of Sole with the sisterhood of light Myi wielders that she grew up with. Generally pre-meeting the main party, her life revolved around the sisterhood she grew up with. With their strict Myi training dictating her life.

A sketch of Sole with her sisterhood of light priestesses.

Day 6: Strength and Weakness Long story short, she specializes in a special type of Myi that her sisterhood specializes in that's great at supportive abilities but can't be used offensively. Her kind heartedness and dedication to her faith also is her greatest strength and greatest weakness.

A drawing of Sole looking up at a figure shadowing over her.

Day 5: Personality (Sole) Generally reserved and formal, but has a more outgoing side that comes out around people she's more comfortable with. Takes her spiritual beliefs seriously and an active pacifist. www.tumblr.com/jackitk/8296... #bweirdoctober

Simple pencil sketch of my OC Sole. She has a gleeful, closed eye, wide mouth smile with her hands clasped against each other, similar to a prayer pose.

Day 4: Under-appreciated OC The saga continues... #art #ocart #bweirdoctober

Pencil sketches of a few of my characters as part of an OC October daily prompt. On the left is Sara and Jade with concern looks. Sara is staring down Gardina over a missing Earth Sol Spirit as a fire Sol Spirit hides around her ankles. Turns out, yes Gardina did take the Earth Sol Spirit, as she hides it behind her back.

A new addition to the drawing is Skip, over on the right side of the drawing. Using her skipping stones to teleport behind Gardina. Using the moment as a distraction to grab the Earth Sol Spirit back from Gardina.

JackitK @jackitk.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Day 3: Old OC Decided to keep adding on to the previous sketch. I already got an idea of how to add onto it for day 4. #art #ocart #bweirdoctober #sketch

Continuation of day 2 drawing of Gardina hiding a Sol Spirit away from Sara. For day 3 I added Jade, as they're the only lasting OC I've had longer than Sara. They are standing next to Sara, giving her a concerned look as Sara continues her disapproving stare and the lion girl trying to plead innocence.

Not sure if I'll get around to today's drawing prompt. So, here's a sketch I've been sitting on for a little bit. Mostly to fill my non-gaming fan art quota. But also because I've been in a bit of a Looney Tunes mood as of late. #art #LooneyTunes #Roadrunner #fanart #sketch

Pencil sketch of Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner from the Looney Tunes shorts, standing on the road. Coyote is knocked out, dizzy after an anvil fell on his head. To is right is the Roadrunner, staring at him with a bit of a concern look in his eyes. Probably making sure he was alright before running off. A bit of the desert is in the background and you can see an indent om the ground from the last time a boulder fell.

New OC part 2 As a bonus, I want to share the brand new Sol Spirits that I just drew yesterday to use in the video game I'm developing and hoping to release this year.

A drawing of Sole sitting down on the ice after slipping over. Surrounding her in support are a batch of Sol Spirits from the game Soulful Slide. In the upper left corner is a water Sol Spirit with a light blue snowflake crystal on it's head. In the upper right is a wind Sol Spirit with the usual lighting bolt head acting as a support for the round fan resting on top of its head. In the lower right is an earth Sol Spriit with an evergreen tree for a head and dark blue ornaments replacing the usual rocks that rest along the side of its head. Resting among her feet is a fire Sol Spirit. With its usual orange and black color scheme, and charcoal on top of it's head, around it's neck like a necklace, and on the tips of its feet.

Since I'm working on a game with a more winter theme but only two characters, I decided to sketch some characters that didn't make the cut for Soulful Slide if they were in that game's winter ascetics. Mostly started by wanting a better drawing of Jade to use as in Steam posts. #OC #OCArt #Art

Pencil sketch of my OC, Jade, standing with hands in pocket while wearing a winter outfit.

A pencil sketch of Sara during the winter time. She is noticeably under dressed for winter as the only thing out of the ordinary in her outfit is that she has winter boats and is in a tank top.

A small pencil sketch of my OC Techie sitting in her wheelchair while wearing a winter outfit. She has a winter hat over her usual braids, a scarf, a puffy coat, and winter boots.

A small pencil sketch of my oc, Nayla. Her outfit is based off some Native American coats I found with a little Googling with some minor modifications to better fit the universe my OC fits in. The coat has a hoodie over her head and a slightly abstract wind sol spirit on the front with thunderbolt on each sleeve. Her footwear consists of winter boots.

Speaking of random drawings I did on my phone, I never got around to sharing this sketch I did in between some work breaks as well. I recall making this one with chaotic intent. So anything that looks off is probably intentional. 😂 #art #phonesketches

A slightly crude drawing of some stick figure people driving along a road. Person on the left has their arms up and a shocked expression. Person on the right is holding the steering wheel and has an expression of not giving a damn about anything anymore. The car is an odd shape with the windows and headlights forming a face in a similar way an electric outlet does. The wheels are nice and chunky. There is a purle car going the other way on the opposite lane. Wether or not they are driving on the wrong side of the road or if it's just a European car is up to the viewer's interpretation.

A bit overdue, but I'm finally knocking out that spot on my art bingo board that required drawing out an Overseer of the Elements mechanic. #oc #ocart #art #sketches

Pencil sketches showing off the concept of how Nayla would interact with Sol Spirits. The text reads as follows.

Nayla and Elemental Arrows. Everyone weirds Sol Spirits in their own way. With Nayla Sol Spirits are shot out of her bow, dealing elemental damage. Even if a spirits ability is normally supportive, she'll turn it into an offensive attack.

The panels below show Jade using tear to restore HP. Nayla then proceeds to use the same Sol Spirit and shoots it right into the face of a shadow claw cub. The enemy takes damage. Since it normally heals Jade, Nayla gets to drain some of the HP from the attack to restore her own health.

In the next panel, Techie uses the Sol Spirit Oak to raise her defense. This time around Nayla decides to skip the middle man of loading the Sol Spirit into her bow (and because I got tired of drawing bows and shooting poses) and decides to just take the Sol Spirit and yeet it into the Shadow Claw cub’s face. The "attack" lowers the enemy's defense and of course deals damage.

The shadow cub is not amused by this presentation and may need a check up after all this.

I've still haven't found a design that I'm fully happy with. Like I like the stupid snouts which just doesn't show in any of the lizard designs I've done quite yet. But I also don't want to keep a design aspect that I really like if I can't find a way for it to make sense. Time will tell I guess.

Some rough pencil sketches of my OCs, Bob and Steve. Thr later ones have a bit more of a lizard feel than the old design.

A drawing of Bob and Steve (with a bit more of a lizard redesign than the previous gator look) and fitting some uniforms provided by Shadow Claw. Unfortunately they are the targets of Illudia's bazooka, so they are currently running for their life. Steve (lagging behind) is panicking. While Bob is having a fun time striking his anime running pose as he flees, not fully grasping the threat they are dealing with.

Or the level where I first introduce the wind Sol Spirit. It makes sense for Sara because it's her first exposure to the wind jump mechanic. But at that point, Nayla players are already used to it. In that case, players go through an alternate version that teaches the basics of using fire instead.

Once again, Happy Anniversary Golden Sun. With the Zine finally out, I think I'm ready to share the piece that I made in contribution to the project. You can check out the full zine below. There's SO MANY pages of art & stories told from the heart scattered throughout it. #art #GoldenSun #fanart

A drawing of the characters from Golden Sun on a boat searching for Jenna and Kraden after their bittersweet victory at the Venus lighthouse. The four are hanging over the side of the boat with various forms of disappointment on their faces. Behind them, is a transparent variant of Kraden and Jenna, symbolizing the looming thoughts flowing through the mind of all four party members.

The see and sky are filled with colorful variants of the various monsters from the first Golden Sun game who hang around the see or can fly, with a single vermin hidden behind the boat, as an easter egg. Monsters include the squid creatures, a lizard man, bees, bats, and a harpy. Flying above them all are an assortment of of seagulls soaring through the sky.

The sea itself is a dark blue with some light blue sparkles scattered throughout. The sky is a grayish blue with a cloudy mist covering up the yellow sun in the corner.
