Yes, with no accountability and people can’t go anywhere to resolve a complaint as there’s no duty of care, no ombudsman and even ADR businesses can’t deal with certain things. Meanwhile, the gambling commission also doesn’t deal with complaints. The fox is left in charge of the chicken coup 💯

Staff in adult gaming centres are trained to recognise harmful gambling. They're also trained to encourage it, with free brews, and even pizza ovens in some places. This isn’t a lack of training, it's greed from the companies. sbcnews.co.uk/retail/2025/...

IBAS directing people to the #gambling commission, who don’t deal with the issue, then tell you to take your complaint to the operator-this is absolutely daft, this page is daft. People are left with no where to turn and probably give up unless they want to pay legal fees. We do need an #ombudsman

This is incredibly disappointing. The landbased gambling industry is already out of control. Government policy is now clear- we should allow more high stake harmful slot machines operating 24 hours a day on our high streets. This isn’t growth, it's exploitation. £2 a spin is £2880 an hour.
