Just watched ep 1 of the "Big Bang" spinoff "Stuart Fails...". It's been getting mediocre reviews, but I liked it. Very different genre from BB, but an interesting reimagining of the characters, and some fun cameo guests. I won't wait to watch ep 2.

Just had two small cups of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream, but both were 100% vanilla. #QualityFail (FWIW, it's very good vanilla, just not what I wanted.)

Lots of time to think on a long train trip. It just occurred to me that “Little Shop of Horrors” is (much darker) reworking of “Damn Yankees”.

Not really a spoiler, but, in the current episode of "Shrinking", Jimmy and Brian singing "Les Miz", is wonderful! Even better than Paul singing "Indiana Jones". !!!B

For the record, I am an older white guy, who had no problem with Bad Bunny's Superbowl performance. In fact, I enjoyed it.

Can anyone guess the thing that really bugs me about the UI on this display?

Small part of the dashboard display on a Toyota Rav4. Specifically the part about fuel economy.

Interesting interview with Talking Points Memo's Josh Marshall on the occasion of their 25th Anniversary. www.cjr.org/the-intervie...

a lot of places got mesmerized by what I would call a theoretical audience — the metrics that tell you that you have ten million uniques. But that’s not an audience. That is your role in the eddies and currents of the internet. That’s not people who are really invested in you continuing to exist

What's happened to the East Wing is a travesty, and all the other Trump actions are outrages. But they're not the most important thing. We want to see all the Epstein evidence!! Don't get distracted.

My first Southwest flight since they've started charging to check luggage. On every flight so far the gate agents have been begging for "volunteers" to gate check their bags. It seems likely this is because so many people are now carrying on their suitcases to avoid the new fee ($35 per bag).
