jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 19/11/2024thank fuck, i hated geforce experience with a passion. so bloated and slow 110
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 17/11/2024v proud of noia, first talked with her in 2022 in copenhagen after she moved to NA. remember thinking how cool it was that she'd made waves in EU and her talent was being recognised. the waves never really stopped though, and they keep getting bigger. shout outs to the whole team 🥹 well earned! 010
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 17/11/2024@shopifyrebellion.gg is on board already, as well as @loud.gg and @mibr.gg ! 220
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 15/11/2024some people will have had falcons or flyquest red up here in the top 4 instead of xipto but honestly this feels about how game changers champs was gonna go. it's nice seeing two pacific teams (i adore the zeta players) making a good run and the SR vs. G2 game was a banger. good tournament so far! 020
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 15/11/2024made a larger one of these earlier but deleted to make it more compact, lil intro about me! hmu if you like any of these name: jack location: london, uk interests: gaming, french (learning), software dev, valorant, fashion, anime, travel, music (edm/rap/rnb/kpop/other), fps games, rpgs #promosky 040
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 15/11/2024Elon completely gutted the moderation team at twitter which started off the issue, then he incentivised bot spam by, 1. letting them get paid via blue checks, and 2. boosting their replies to the top. even if old twitter had the same no. of bots they would be sorted lower as low quality at least! 000
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 15/11/2024they may use this site's data to tune the algorithm but the data can really come from anywhere as long as it's varied enough to understand a range of human interests. the foundations of recommendation algorithms like this have existed for many years, i think they're pretty universal across the web. 000
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 15/11/2024when people complain about the ethical implications of AI they mean generative AI that can create content based on other people's original works. discovery feed algorithms are not generative and so are not "creating" things, just shuffling original user data around to show to other users. 1160
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 15/11/2024been on here months (only active the past few weeks though) and this is the first time I feel like it could really take off. as long as they don't self sabotage and keep adding some quality of life stuff that's missing I think they can do it (bookmarking posts would be a nice start) 020
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 15/11/2024no random fascist nonsense on my feed and no floods of blue tick bot replies, it's basically heaven in comparison 000

jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 01/11/2024right now it's just scraping from VLR.gg as i didn't immediately find a public API that gives access to valorant event details like this but if anyone knows of one please lmkvlr.ggValorant esports coverage | VLR.ggValorant esports coverage - competitive news, schedule, match results, team rankings, stats, and forums 000
jackerlus @jackerlus.bsky.social · 01/11/2024some more valorant dev! this is just an experiment tbh because i haven't created a discord bot before it's basic but i made a bot that lets you quickly search for valorant events and gives info. planning on adding options to show competing player names, top 4 if event is complete, etc. #dev #python 120
